Happy Thoughts

Happy thoughts, happy thoughts....Virginia Gal is bummed out but I'm trying not to wallow in self-pity/depression. My summer looks abysmal (stuck in I'm starting to HATE Richmond, too much being alone here). I thought this MBA might be a ticket to the big leagues, but no Virginia Gal continues to languish in obsecurity in po-hick Virginia instead of galivanting around the world with the rich and glamourous, working some fabulous airline job. Plus I bombed my financial management exam last week, I hate that class! Oy!

(Didn't someone once tell me if you send positivity out you get positivity in??). Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts!!

Happy thoughts! Happy thoughts!

You are always welcome to come up to DC on a Saturday and hang out with me - it's not galavanting with the rich and famous, but just seeing some of the sites and having a lovely lunch. :-)

Don't get discouraged - remember, an MBA is definitely not a wasted degree. You will certainly land somewhere awesome, just not somewhere you are quite aware of yet . . . be open to the possibilties around the corner!

VA Gal. I'm sorry you're bummed. I'm at a mental stalemate with my thesis. I feel like a stone. If you send me happy "kick-the-ass-of-our-problems" thoughs, I'll send you the same. F* it. i'll send you those anyway.

to cheer you up, I'm showing you my boobs.

Joe - ha ha, an internship in the Bahamas would improve mood greatly!

Pax - Thanks Pax, it is all about perspective...seems silly to worry about an internship when there are kids going to bed tonight hungry. I hate when I wallow in self-pity, hence my happy thoughts mantra. A trip to Jersey, sounds fab!

Mommantor - Thank you for the sunshine and love, I shall endeavor to get out of these blues and hopefully together we will be more happy and less sad!

Random Kath - oh thanks, I swear everyday I think "why did I pursue this stupid degree." Your words are comforting, I shall hope it pays off in the end.

CSL - thank you dear, I do hope a door one's somewhere (and that its not a gag door).

Molly - ha ha!!! Showing me your boobs, I'm laughing out loud!!! Take heart, finish this thesis and you're done!!! Me, I have another stinkin year!
