Obama Wins!!!

I am overjoyed by the Obama win!!! And super especially proud that I was able to help deliver Virginia for Obama column - we turned it blue, first time in 40 years!!! Yeah baby!!!!

Can't wait for the inauguration and for the Obama family to be a part of our town, big big welcomes!!!

ps - do the Bushes need help packing, cause I'm available Sunday??

pps - yes I know I gotta change my blog description, as my mum pointed out, Virginia is no longer a "red state."

I saw your blue last night and although my state turned dreadfully red, I noticed quite a turn out also for blue voters. Please Lord I hope this is the new beginning that we've been so desperately needing!

I bet the Bushes will need wheelbarrows and a huge shredder in their move.

Still red here, sadly - maybe it will spread over the state's borders? But I'm happy anyway.

I was thrilled to see VA and NC go blue. And even though I knew Texas was going to go red, I was happy that it took a little while for the outlets to call it and that the vote was closer there than I had suspected.

I'm so thrilled and proud and charged up! YES WE CAN! YES WE DID! YES WE WILL!

btw: Virginia hasn't gone blue in 44 years. Which seems appropriate as Obama is our 44th president.

Hi,
I thought of you when I saw that Virginia was BLUE!!! I'm sure it's an awesome feeling to be part of such a historical day! Sadly, Arkansas stayed red, and our leaders here were on the news boasting of that fact. In fact, we did not even have a record turnout of voters. But, nonetheless, I was proud to have voted for Barack Obama...excuse me..that's PRESIDENT Barack Obama! His acceptance speech gave me chill bumps and made me cry! I can't wait for inauguration. Maybe I should take off of work that day!
Congrats once again! YES WE CAN!!!

I am proud to be alive at this historical time in the Country's history. I wish more states in the union will have more open-minded educated citizen's like the "New Virginians". I hope and pray that the Virginians will keep it up.
It is really great to see that the citizen's of this country have finally elected a "Bright" really educated President, especailly after 8 years of the Idiot in the White house.
All of us who voted for Obama should be very proud of our decision and thank God for giving us an insight to do the right thing.
Wait: Sarah Palin is already getting T-shirts printed fo 2012. Just goes to show there is no shortage of Idiots in the Republican Party.
