Phoenix Bound

I'm off to Phoenix, Arizona this week - to train my successor for my job. I will be without internet (what will I do with myself, ahhh!!!).

In a week or two, I will be sans job, in a company I've been with for over five years! At times I'm ok with that, at other times, I'm not. But life changes and I must roll with the punches or lay down and die.

Hope everyone has a good week!

Sheesh, that's rotten. Can you just leave now and let them worry about training your successor? Or would it affect your unemployment claim?

Well, safe travels, and I hope you manage to see something new and have some fun in Phoenix!

Enjoy the desert for me!

Sad as the situation is, it sounds like you've already got a good start attitude about it. that's a crucial first step to resillience.

So your job is moving to Phoenix without you? Ah well, more travel in a direction you haven't talked about before.

Merci - Phoenix was fun and actually has helped me bring some closer to the idea of leaving. I'm finally ready. Breath deep.

Tony - thanks, it was fun! I'm back!

Molly - trip was fun, thanks for the kind words - I see you and realize my life is not going to be over just because I don't have free flight benefits : )

Joe - Headquarters is moving to Phoenix (and with that big clue you should be able to figure out which airline I work for, hee hee) and I decided not to go out. I would have been all alone in PHX, everyone is out east for me. Besides its in the wrong direction, I want to go out to Europe, not West, hee hee.

Laurie - I have that quote at my desk, I totally agree, this is happening for a reason and I will go with it. Leave it in God's hands, I say :)

Buffy - hello! Thanks for stopping by! It is so the truth and at one time in my life I was about ready to lay down and die, now I'm trying to keep moving even when the wave looks too big and I want to just stop fighting and let it take me out to sea. Lord, I'm big into metaphors lately, wonder why??
